1. Who is responsible

o6 Automation GmbH is responsible for the processing described here. Our postal address and company details are shown in the imprint above.

2. When you visit this website

We process technically necessary data such as your IP address, the requested page, date and time, browser information, referrer and language settings. This lets us deliver the website, prevent abuse and keep it secure.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Short-lived form-abuse data is deleted after 90 days unless a security incident requires longer retention.

3. When you contact us

For enquiries and training requests, we use the details you provide — for example your name, contact information, company, selected topic or event, and message — to respond, prepare an offer or take steps toward a contract. Required fields are marked; without them, we cannot process your request.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps toward a contract, or our legitimate interest in handling general business enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep correspondence while it is needed for the enquiry, a resulting business relationship, legal obligations or legal claims.

4. When we work together

To deliver contracted services, we use customer and business-contact data, contract information, service records, invoices and payment information.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for performing the contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations. Records are kept for the periods required by commercial and tax law and, where needed, for legal claims.

5. When you subscribe

If you choose our newsletter, we use your email address and the information needed to document and manage the subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter.

Legal basis: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing. We retain subscription evidence only as long as needed to demonstrate compliance and prevent unwanted delivery.

6. When you apply

We use your contact details, application documents and related communication to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. Application data is kept for the recruitment process and as long as needed for legal claims. A longer talent-pool stay requires separate consent.

Legal basis: Section 26 BDSG and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

7. When you load an external video

External videos do not load automatically. If you choose to load one, your browser connects to the video provider, which may receive technical data and use its own storage technologies. You can avoid this processing by leaving the video unloaded.

Legal basis: your voluntary consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

8. Who may receive personal data

Access within o6 Automation GmbH is limited to people who need the data for their work. We also use carefully selected service providers in categories such as hosting, IT, email delivery, accounting and professional advice. Public authorities receive data only where the law requires it.

If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we use a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR, unless an adequacy decision applies.

9. How long we keep and protect data

We keep personal data only while it is needed for the stated purpose, a contract, a legal obligation or a legal claim. The exact period depends on the type of data and the law that applies. Appropriate technical and organisational measures protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete or restrict the use of data
• Provide portable data where applicable
• Respect an objection based on your situation
• Withdraw consent at any time

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our registered office is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
