We are the founders and stewards of the open62541 library — a widely used open-source implementation of the OPC UA communication standard (IEC 62541).
Our technologies are already an integral part of numerous automation systems on the market today.
We love OPC UA and are passionate about promoting the standard as the foundation for reliable, interoperable and secure automation solutions.
As the stewards of the open6541 project we work with product vendors to ensure they can integrate open62541 in conformance with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).See here for more details
What we do
Custom Development and Integration
We help our clients to develop and support solutions using industrial communication with OPC UA. As the maintainers of open62541 we have the insights to create elegant and scalable solutions. And where required, we can also extend the core library itself to support new use cases.
Support and Training
Open Source is often the preferred technology for technical reasons, licensing and the long-term availability. In addition, we provide the necessary support and training for enterprise customers. For open62541 we handle the CRA, vulnerability management, certification-relevant documentation, and much more.

Based on open62541 as a foundational technology, we develop a range of products. These are mainly software tools and libraries targeting the developers of automation solutions "for future industry".

The copyright of open62541 source code remains with the
(hundreds of) individual contributors from many years of development. o6
Automation is not willing - and legally not able - to change the
licensing conditions of the existing open source library. open62541 will remain under the MPLv2 license.
open62541 is the starting point and the foundation for what we do. But we also have clients who value our general expertise in communication and control for industrial automation
You can continue to use open62541 under the open souce terms. Also the development continues to take place on Github (https://github.com/open62541/open62541) involving a wider community of developers. Changes are the following:
